Buying Silver 101

This page is a primer on your first steps to silver coin collecting as an investment. Why invest? Read Richest Man in Babylon, or just image being poor, and then becoming poorer. You want to Invest in items that appreciate. In this case, silver is appreciating. Dollar bills are not appreciating. Being an hombre negocios, do you save pesos or dollars? No. Do the numbers and statistics matter? Not really. Your dollar is depreciating, going to zero, plus it is fundamentally worthless paper, plus you get no interest on it. Not to mention plans are in place to replace it (as the way of the Euro) with the Amero or Bankor, or Chips? None of these can add value to your assets.

Here is a simple plan for your first silver investments. Learn about just four pre-1965 American silver coins: half-dollar, quarter, dime, and silver dollar. These will be represented by the eight coins below: Morgan and Peace dollars, Kennedy half, Franklin half, Washington & Liberty quarter, Liberty & Roosevelt dime, all pre-1965.

More to come... in the meantime, read the links below. Then return here for more advice.
