The links here will open your mind to many more possibilities. To expand on the resources
above, use your search engine to
do some creative searches for companies in your location of choice. Then
go their web site and look for job postings under headings, such as Careers,
Employment, or Opportunities.
A study done in 2001 shows that the most successful online job searches
were done directly at corporate web sites, not using job boards. Nine
big public companies were studied, which together made about 62,000
hires. 16% were gained through corporate Web sites. On the other
hand, the percentage of hires made through the biggest job boards,
Monster.com, Hotjobs.com, CareerBuilder and Head- Hunter.net, was far
smaller 1.4%, 0.39%, 0.29%
and 0.27%, respectively.

This
is an impressive compilation of job sites in one place. It is
"a must" if you are looking for a job in today's job
market. I wish I had used a tool like that when I was looking for
a job last year. I strongly recommend it.

Mr.
Eriksen's Job Kit CD is an excellent tool for the job seeker. His
instructions cover all the bases for the perspective employee,
form the way to dress, interviewing, producing your resume and
cover letter to a follow-up thank you letter. All of these tips
assist the candidate in finding a job and help to boost their
chances for getting hired.

Being
a front-line manager I see many job candidates.
Surprisingly, very few have letters with their resumes. The
information presented here would be a great boost to any job
seeker needing to create an effective cover letter and improve
interviewing skills. This kit covers it all.

I have been to several Career Transition Centers
since coming from the military I was introduced to this disk with
all the information in one place. No one I talked to said anything
on how to find a job. This disk does just that. It is a simple,
smart teaching tool. It helps you focus on what you need to do and
directs you there. You insert it into your computer and go. I
would recommend it without reservations.
